Makazi Nomabali is Siphokazi’s creative house and storytelling platform — a home for poetry, performance, and narrative-driven projects. Through Makazi Nomabali, Siphokazi produces original works and collaborates with artists, filmmakers, and creatives who explore themes of identity, memory, and social transformation.
The name, Makazi Nomabali (loosely translated as “the Aunt of Stories”), speaks to her role as a custodian of story — gathering, retelling, and preserving the voices that shape who we are.
Through this imprint, she continues to build bridges between live performance, film, and literature, ensuring that stories are not only told, but felt and remembered.
